I lived alone with my baby in an off-grid cabin on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia. Now I live alone on Prince Edward Island with my ten year old daughter.

#1. I discovered I can see my feet again.
#2. Cabbage leaves work wonders on engorged breasts.
